University equipment and facilities for the course of study ‘Master of Oral Implantology’ (MOI)

The obligatory modules with contact hours will take place mainly at the Zentrum für Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde (University Dental Clinic - Centre for Teeth, Mouth and Jaw Medicine) at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.

The seminar rooms and lecture theatres of the University Dental Clinic have been extensively renovated in recent years with a budget of ca. 3 million Euros and are equipped with modern and innovative teaching equipment. There is a focus on ‘e-learning’ teaching methodology, with 52 patient simulators and workplaces that are fully equipped with high-tech computer equipment. Each workplace is set up to precisely resemble a modern patient treatment area in a dental practice, with an integrated module for the dental assistant.

The operation theatres for surgical intervention correspond to the highest international standards with regard to size, equipment and hygiene criteria.

So that the students can improve their manual skills and theoretical knowledge outside the regular course hours, the University also offers a ‘learning laboratory’, complete with six patient simulator workplaces and four workplaces equipped with computer equipment with access to the Internet and University intranet.
